Hayden Panettiere enjoys her new drinking privileges at the Cavern Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan on her 21st birthday, August 21. HP has been staying near Detroit filming Scream 4 with newbie co-star Emma Roberts at her side. Ol' timer co-stars David Arquette and Neve Campbell were said to have planned Hayden's b-day soiree, which featured a giant dolphin cake for the environmental activist among the celebratory surprises. Hayden is keeping her hair short n' spiky for the summer, what do you think of her shortened locks? Hayden might have just turned 21, but a few weeks ago she reportedly raised a scene when denied entry into Hollywood hotspot Villa due to lack of ID. She was heard screeching at a bouncer, “Are you kidding me? I come here all the time. Why is this an issue NOW? I turn 21 in a couple of weeks…so what the hell is your problem?” Granted this is from the National Inquirer, but I can definitely picture Hayden getting saucy! After all, it's not her first nightclub run-in regarding her underage status. Just hope she won't forget her ID next time!

LEGAL IN LONDON

Taking her cute pixie cut to the streets, Emma Watson was back in her native London for dinner with some pals on August 25. Em and her chums dined at Café Pacifico in Covent Garden before heading to the ultra hip Bungalow 8 for some late night fun. Emma won't be able to legally get into a club like this once she heads back to school at Brown in a week or two, and it looks like she's enjoying the freedom – note the disheveled buttoning of the cardi! For her night out Em went for a very casual, vintage vibe with a ditsy floral French Connection mini dress (I'm loving Amberlynn's Darling Dee Day Dress in Floral Print or Boulee's Dolores Tube Dress in Bouquet as alternate girly options) warmed up by the aforementioned cropped cardi (try Splendid's Shadow Stripe Knit Cardi in Heather, just take extra care to button straight!) and indigo jeggings (work the fall trend with Joe's Jeans' 25" Jegging in Juliett). Emma kept the look conservative with ivory flats, adding a quirky floral printed bag (I'm drooling over Whiting & Davis' new Florentine Shopper in Multi). What are your thoughts on her laidback look, is it too casual for night or does it suit her? I'm still blown away by the super short locks – such a cute, different look for her, I hardly recognize her! Emma's new campaign for her People Tree Fall 2010 collection was just released, and although they were shot before she chopped off her hair I'm excited to see her succeeding in more than just the Harry Potter franchise. Em admitted in a recent interview she hasn't been the one sketching behind the scenes as the line came to life, but she did travel to Bangladesh to scope out fabrics for the line and ensure Fair Trade practices were put in place: “I still find it hard to convey what Fair Trade means to those producing our fashion — it’s just so impressive to see how the women have used Fair Trade clothing to escape poverty and empower themselves and their children. I was moved and inspired.” Are any of you inspired to look for Fair Trade and organic labels when browsing the racks?

After constantly saying that she wants to go darker with her hairdo, Kristin Cavallari finally lived up to her word (sort of) as she was photographed leaving the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills on August 25 sporting a very Farrah Fawcett-esque style. I know the dark roots/lighter ends hair trend has pretty much swept Hollywood, but I think that this 'do would have looked so much better on Kristin if she'd ditched the blonde highlight in front and the lighter tips and opted for a warm chestnut color all over. If you're going to go brunette, commit! Just my two cents, haha. For her salon ensemble, Kristing flaunted her enviable gams in a pair of white micro denim cut off shorts (opt for a little more coverage while still sporting the military trend with Joe's Jeans' Military Cargo Short in White) along with a flowy button up top (try James Perse's Contrast Button Up in Black... and Walter's Georgette Blouse in Khaki is really pretty too) and tan suede heels. A bunch of bracelets, a LV bag and a turquoise pendant necklace (get a hint of turquoise with Amy DiGregorio's Little Pleasant Bay Necklace in Turquoise) completed Kristin's look. Before heading over to The London Hotel in West Hollywood to attend the LA Confidential Magazine Emmy Kick-Off Celebration event, Kim Kardashian dined at one of her favorite restaurants, Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, on August 25. This was a pretty important event for Kim, as she's on the cover of the latest issue of LA Confidential Magazine, along with her two sisters. For her event ensemble, KK chose a Hannah Marshall mini dress that has a leather top and cream corduroy skirt. To accent her curves, Kim wore a clear Gianfranco Ferre, and finished things off with Loren jewels and Christian Louboutin metallic stilettos. To get a more casual look inspired by Kim's style, try tucking Quiksilver's Underground Tank in Glow into Walter's Patchwork Striped Skirt in Gold, along with an oversized belt (like Motif 56's Elise Patent Belt in White) and big gold drop earrings (Anna Beck's Wide Gold Plated Drop Earrings are similar to Kim's. I'm not sure whether or not you all have heard Kim's most recent comments about Justin Bieber, but Kim said that she would she would "date" Justin if he was a few years older. Obviously, people reacted quite strongly to this, which made Kim respond: "I was joking! It's like, 'Come on, people', I would never seriously date a 16-year-old, an 18-year-old, a 20-year-old. It's all in fun. I like 'em young but even if he was legal, that's still too young for me!" Even if Justin was a little older, do you see him with Kim?

Spotted out and about for a sunny day in Los Feliz, Rachel Bilson did her best to deal with the lingering paparazzi as she made her way into a fashion studio. Rach is just back from a relaxing trip to Hawaii, where photos of her paddle boarding made their rounds online. Well look who we have here! Here's a familiar face who we haven't seen in quite some time. A post jail and rehab Lindsay Lohan was photographed earlier today, August 26, in Santa Monica and appeared to be in quite good spirits - but then again, who wouldn't be when they're toting a big gorgeous black Birkin? For her outfit, LiLo tucked a white tank (try Son of John's The Surfer Tank in White) into a high waisted black skirt (very similar to Boulee's High-Waisted Tulip Skirt in Black) and slipped into a pair of black lace up heels. Accessory wise, Lohan wore a pair of black sunnies along with a pair of silver hoops (get some extra sparkle with Michele Michel Jewelry's Swarovski Hoops in Silver) and a bevy of bangles (get the look with Circadian Studios' Silver and Oxidized Bangles Set). What are your thoughts of Lohan's look for one of her first public outings since her much-publicized jailing? On the professional side of LL's life (and yes, this does exist), her next project Machete is finally being released. While Lohan didn't walk the carpet at the premiere, director Robert Rodriguez is singing the troubled starlet's praises. He says, "She's awesome in the movie. That's what they'll see: the actress behind all that paparazzi nonsense that follows her and won't leave her alone. They'll get to see her and say, 'Oh, that's why we follow her around.'" I wonder if this film will be the thing that makes people see Lindsay as an actress once more, instead of just a paparazzi target and perennial hot mess?

Over the weekend Anna and her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer tied the knot in Malibu at a friend's beachside home, sealing the deal on their "true" romance. Busy mama Katie Holmes takes a day off the set of The Kennedys to go shopping in Toronto with Suri and Tom's daughter Isabella on August 22. Between browsing the racks at Gap Kids and Anthropologies, the trio was caught in a downpour before picking up take-out and heading home. With all the buzz surrounding her latest role, Katie landed the cover of New York Magazine's Fall Fashion issue, snapped striking yet another one of Jackie's famous poses as she dished inside on everything from family to oh yes, fashion. Katie began chatting about how she got the impulse to design her own line, inspired by her daughter: "I started making clothes for Suri when she was born, designing dresses, and then having seamstresses sew them, because I don’t sew very well. As a child, I was always drawing clothes, and I’ve always loved fabrics, and when Suri was born, I wanted to have certain things be from me and created just by me for her." She continued, "I grew up the youngest of five, so there were a lot of hand-me-downs that I would sort of change up. And Suri and I do that now with her clothes. Or rather, she does it. She says, 'I want this sleeve cut,' and it’s like, 'Okay, we’ll cut it.' She picks out all of her own clothes and has since she was 1½." Sounds like Suri will be taking over the role of creative director any day now!
