Enjoying some quality time with her husband, Ashlee Simpson arrives holding hands with Pete at a luau in Hollywood on August 29. The happy couple obeyed the instructions at the door and got "lei'd" before heading inside to enjoy the BBQ festivities. Ash dressed appropriately for the summer soiree in a flirty floral romper covering a frisky polka dot bikini. Ashlee topped the look with teetering cherry red platform sandals , carrying a straw tote with all her poolside essentials inside (transition the casual style to the street with Linea Pelle's Perry Woven Tote in Cognac. What do you think of Ashlee's leggy look, does it work for her? I have to comment that she looks a bit healthier than she did wearing short shorts a few weeks ago in LA. Do you agree the super bony look seems to have subsided here? Ash is also sporting the new "ombre hair" trend, letting her dark roots grow out gradually lightened. Never shy in front of the cameras, Miley Cyrus lives up to her "Smiley" nickname as she arrives at JFK Airport in New York City on August 30 with mama Tish at her side. In typical MC summer fashion, Miley stepped off the plane in super short shorts (like Kill City's Shorty Patches in Indigo) with edgy black open toe booties (they're not exactly what I would wear in an airport, but I'm loving Apepazza's Lisbona in Black for fall) and an oversized slouchy cocoon zip front hoodie (check out Mike & Chris' Charles Giant Hoodie in Black). Miley schlepped a brightly patterned carry-on with her (love the vibrant print of Tylie Malibu's Ikat Bag in Black/Red) and wore a giant cross pendant around her neck (steer clear of any accusations of blasphemy with Jessica Elliot's Wrought Iron Clover Necklace in Silver), arriving in great spirits with her hair pulled back in a messy bun. What do you think of Miley's low-key travel attire, does it look like her style is improving at all? Now that MC's getting older she's clearing the way for new young talent, but one newcomer is quite the admirer. When asked which movie he'd like to star in, youngster Justin Bieber replied he'd want to do a Grease remake: "It would be a lot of fun. It’s been talked about a lot over the years but it would be awesome to play Danny. I would go for Miley Cyrus without hesitation [for Sandy]. She can sing, dance and act…I’d want some great people to star in it. Wouldn’t Susan Boyle make an amazing Principal McGee? We’d just need to write it into the script that she broke into song.” Dream big, kid!

Lightening up in NYC, Jessica Alba poses in a fun n' flirty frock outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre on her way to tape "The Late Show with David Letterman" on August 30. Jess made her way to New York this week to promote her violent new film Machete, which opens in theatres September 3. Earlier in the day Jess stopped by the Sirius XM studio for an interview, changing out of her all black ensemble into a flirty ruffled turquoise mini for her evening appearance (get the girly look with Isabel Lu's Perfectly Pleated Dress in Turquoise, Luc by Lucy's Abstract Polka Dot Dani Dress in Mint Polka or Moschino Cheap & Chic's Moschino Dress in Cream). Jess showed off her legs for days with the super short frock, but I have mixed feelings about the blue velvet heels she chose (something lighter yet still unique like Farylrobin's Jayden in Taupe might have worked better). Do you think the heels work or is she trying too hard? Jess swept her hair back for the appearance, showing off her toned arms and shoulders. I don't know about you but I think Jess looks positively radiant here, what are your thoughts? Jessica's last few roles have definitely been appropriate for adults only, and when interviewed by FOX Pop Tarts Jess admitted she wants to have more work she can show her daughter: "I think there is a nice balance (between “family friendly” and more adult films) but it would be fun to do more films that my daughter can see. I like finding a character who finds herself, finds strengths and actually uses her damn stilettos (for a purpose) instead of just killing her feet." It sounds like her dreams may come true – Jess is in talks to appear in the next Spy Kids film as a retired spy who mentors her stepchildren. Sounds like a great positive female influence for Honor!

Anna let the chiseled neckline speak for itself and left her neck and ears bare, opting instead to accessorize with a mix of black and gold bangles to complete the ensemble (Amrita Singh's decadent Kisin Bracelet in Gold and Calico Juno's Stone Studded Bracelet in Black are some of my favorite treasures). I think her patent YSL pumps have a sort of thud effect as you take in this look, but they don't ruin it entirely either. What are your thoughts on Anna's look, do you think she can pull it off? Some fashion critics are saying it's a fail, but I think this really works for her personality and she scored bonus points by not killing it with jewelry. Gladiator perfection in my book! Looking fabulous in France, Beyonce Knowles strolls the boardwalk after spending a day on a yacht with hubby Jay-Z in St. Tropez on August 24. The power couple has been enjoying a few days of freedom while soaking up the sun in Porto Ferraio, Italy before passing through Monte Carlo, Monaco over the weekend, yachting around the Mediterranean. Beyonce has been displaying some fantastic resort fashion on her vacay, and on this day it was all about prints, prints, prints from head-to-toe. Bey started with a sexy leopard print maillot (try Tyler Rose's Tubbs in Brown/Black) with an ikat print Dries van Noten embellished top and tribal printed high waist shorts (transition Bey's cover-up look from the beach to back-to-reality with Scrapbook Original's Wine Top in Merlot tucked into Walter's Patchwork Striped Skirt in Gold). What are your thoughts on her seaside look, do you get this glammed up while vacationing? The fit of the shorts is a little questionable, but I do like that Bey is able to pull off mixing so many contrasting prints without looking costumey. That said, Red Carpet Fashion Awards had to point out the price tag on her embellished blouse is upwards of $1,200 and she's tying it without regard like something she picked up at the local mall. Ah, the life of the rich and famous – not to mention limitless credit cards!

Former "The Hills" star Stephanie Pratt is never one to miss out on a lively celebration, and was photographed at the Virgin America Official Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) After Party in Hollywood on August 27. Stephanie attended the event with friend and former co-star Lo Bosworth, and both girls seemed to be having a fun night. In recent Stephanie news, it's not surprising (yet still sad) to hear that she hasn't spoken to her off-the-rails brother, Spencer, in almost a year. She reveals, "In September it will be a year [since we've spoken]. It's getting more normal and more normal. When he's ready to come around, I'm going to greet him with open arms. I love him more than anything in the world. He's my blood." It's nice to see that Stephanie still has love for her brother, but do you think it's wise for her to have someone like Spencer in her life at all, brother or not?

Getting ready for a big day in NYC, Katy Perry steps out to promote the release of her new album on August 24. I think when you put sex and spirituality in the same bottle and shake it up, bad things happen." She continued, "Lately, I've just been seeing some things that are kind of like, I don't know, in my own personal feelings, a little bit like not something I would do, I guess.
